About this resource

This program provides in-home support for eligible seniors residing in their own homes. The services offered encompass housekeeping, personal care, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation. Additionally, it includes case management to assist older adults in making informed and economical choices regarding their care requirements. The number of service hours per individual varies based on assessed needs and available local funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours monthly. Situations where Oregon Project Independence may be beneficial include when someone needs assistance due to an injury or illness, or after being discharged from the hospital and requiring support during recovery at home.
