This service assists individuals in crisis due to mental health challenges, suicidal ideation, or emergencies. It provides phone-based counseling, advice on subsequent steps, and has the capability to send a mobile team or arrange transportation to a care facility. Additionally, it connects individuals with mental health and addiction treatment services and acts as the initial point of contact for Multnomah Behavioral Health Services, which caters to mental health and substance use disorders for Oregon Health Plan members in Multnomah County associated with Health Share of Oregon CCO.
Intake Procedure: Individuals can call for crisis counseling or to obtain information and referrals related to behavioral health services. Oregon Health Plan members whose mental health insurance is through Multnomah Behavioral Health can visit any of the listed provider agencies found on the county website or in their member handbook. For assistance in selecting a provider agency or if they have not received a member handbook, individuals may contact Multnomah Behavioral Health Member Services for guidance.
