About this resource
The program looks into reports of abuse that may involve physical injuries, financial exploitation, emotional or verbal mistreatment, forced isolation, improper restraint, unwanted sexual interactions, caregiver abandonment, lack of essential care, or self-neglect (which occurs when individuals cannot adequately care for themselves due to cognitive impairments, potentially resulting in harm).
