About this resource
This public health initiative focuses on improving health outcomes and fostering lifelong nutrition and health practices among women, infants, and children. It includes nutrition education classes, breastfeeding support, monthly benefits for additional nutritious foods, and connections to community resources. Intake Process: Contact us for details and to arrange an appointment. Location/Transportation: Accessible via TriMet bus lines 4, 16, 17, 44, and 75. Cost: No fees involved.
Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four criteria: reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not a requirement), be a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding woman, or an infant or child under 5 years old (with guardians able to apply for eligible children), have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), and demonstrate a nutritional risk during the appointment.
