About this resource
This public health initiative seeks to enhance health outcomes and shape lifelong nutrition and health habits for women, infants, and children. It offers nutrition education classes and additional services such as breastfeeding assistance, monthly allowances for supplemental nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four requirements: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not necessary) -Be a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding woman, or an infant or child under 5 years old. Fathers, foster parents, and other guardians may apply for a qualifying child. -Have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Households receiving OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically eligible based on income. -Demonstrate a nutritional risk (evaluated during the appointment).
