About this resource
This organization provides culturally sensitive mental health services, with a focus on the African American community. It includes individual, group, couples, and family counseling, along with medication support. The aim is to assist adults, couples, and families in dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, significant life changes, substance use, DUI treatment, problem gambling, and chronic health conditions. The organization also works to diminish the stigma surrounding mental health and promote healing.
Intake Procedure: Call to book an appointment.
Fees: Accepts OHP, private insurance, and self-pay options. Sliding scale fees may be available for alcohol and drug addiction treatment, especially for African American individuals in Multnomah County. Gambling treatment is provided at no cost to everyone.
Who can use this
- There are no restrictions. Uninsured residents of Multnomah County who identify as African or African American and have incomes at or below 200% of the federal poverty level can access sliding scale fees for mental health services.
