About this resource
The center runs a call-in service for families of children and youth facing special needs and chronic health challenges, including developmental and emotional disabilities, behavioral issues, and long-term physical illnesses, along with the professionals who work with them. It focuses on delivering information and resources concerning health details, access to healthcare, and support systems for special needs. All communications are kept confidential. Families can also opt to join an email list for monthly updates on relevant topics affecting children and youth with special needs in Oregon.
Intake Procedure: Call and leave a message, and a parent partner will respond within two to three business days.
Fees: There are no charges.
Who can use this
- Family members of individuals aged 26 and younger with special physical, emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges, including those at risk or suspected of having special needs, are eligible. A diagnosed condition is not necessary, and no citizenship documentation is required for service access.
