About this resource

Eligible seniors are provided with vouchers that can be utilized at selected farm stands and markets to acquire locally sourced fresh fruits and vegetables. These vouchers are valid from June 1 through November 30.

Intake Procedure: Participation is strictly by invitation. Seniors who qualify will receive an invitation via mail in late April. For further details, individuals can call or check the website for farm stand and farmers market locations. Voicemail services are available only during operational hours and when specialists are on hand. Requests for accommodations can be made by contacting the respective market or stand.

Fees: There are no fees associated with the program.

Who can use this

  • Seniors must meet all of the following requirements to qualify for the program: be at least 62 years old by April 1 of the current year, receive SNAP benefits and/or Medicaid on April 1, have an income below 138% of the Federal Poverty Level, and live in a situation without provided food.
