Oregon Lions Sight And Hearing Foundation
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative connects individuals to nearby Lions Clubs that offer help for eye exams, eyeglasses, hearing tests, and hearing aids. The level of assistance is determined by eligibility criteria and the funds accessible at each local club. Note that regular contact lenses for vision correction are not covered.
To apply, visit the website. For further inquiries, you can call or email.
Location: The entrance is at the Legacy Devers Eye Institute, located at 1040 NW 22nd Avenue. Proceed past the Devers reception area, turn right down the hallway, and continue past the elevators. The office is at the end of the hallway, sharing a suite with Eye Promise Optical.
Costs: Fees may vary. Currently, the sponsoring Lions Club covers eye and hearing exams, but applicants might need to contribute up to $20 for eyeglasses and up to $200 for each hearing aid.
