About this resource
This program offers financial aid for electric, gas, and heating fuel costs (including oil, propane, and wood) when funding is accessible, though assistance is not assured.
Intake Procedure: -To request an appointment when the line is open, call and leave a message with your first and last name, a working phone number, and the name of your utility company. -Appointments are arranged on a first-come, first-served basis, with no priority for clients whose services have been disconnected. -The program often reaches capacity on the same day it opens, sometimes within 30 minutes or less. -Messages are aimed to be returned within five business days, but same-day appointments cannot be guaranteed.

- Individuals aged 60 and above, adults with disabilities, and families with children under 6 years old.

- Required at intake appointment: -Social Security number -Identification card -Current utility bill -Proof of income (proof of social security income must be a benefit letter for 2026)
