Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative provides a syringe exchange aimed at reducing the transmission of HIV and other infections among drug injectors. Participants can access safer injection supplies, counseling services, safer sex information and materials, as well as free and confidential HIV and Hepatitis C testing, along with referrals for additional drug treatment. The syringe exchange operates on a one-for-one (1:1) basis, allowing users to exchange the same number of syringes they bring in, but individuals will not be denied services if they do not have syringes to return.
