About this resource

This initiative provides affordable rental options for households with low to moderate incomes. Affordable housing here indicates that rents are set below fair market value and are neither subsidized nor based on income. Preference may be given to individuals who have been involuntarily displaced from North/Inner Northeast Portland since the year 2000, often due to rising rents or property sales.

Intake Process: Interested parties can walk in, call, or visit the website to complete a pre-application. All housing units are allocated via waitlists.

Fees: There is no charge for the pre-application. However, a $35 application screening fee is required for each individual aged 18 and older, payable by non-refundable cashier's check or money order when the household's pre-application ascends to the top of the waitlist. Rental prices differ by unit.

Who can use this

To qualify, household income must be at least 1.5 times the rent and cannot exceed 60% of the Area Median Income for Portland.

Each household member age 18 and older must complete a separate waitlist application. The following documents must be provided: -Valid photo ID for each person age 18 and older who will reside in the household -Proof of verifiable income for the past 30 days (pay stubs or current award letter for those receiving TANF, SSI, or Unemployment In -Copy of most recent income tax form or W-2
