This service features a shopping-style food pantry and the delivery of emergency food boxes, while also providing opportunities for volunteering and accepting food donations.
Intake Procedure: For the food pantry, individuals can visit the website, send an email, or make a phone call to schedule an appointment. If using the website, navigate to "Our Services" and select "Make a Pantry Appointment." For emergency food boxes, contact the Portland Police Bureau's non-emergency line if it's outside standard hours. For other services, visit the website or call for details.
Travel/Location: Accessible via TriMet routes 20, 73, and the MAX Blue Line, with a stop located two blocks away at the intersection of 122nd Avenue and Stark Street.
Fees: There are no fees associated with these services.
Who can use this
- To qualify for the food pantry, individuals must meet at least one of several criteria, including being 62 or older or having a dependent under 18; emergency food boxes are available for those who are homebound or medically fragile, with a limit of two boxes per month.
