Sunstone Way

Community Resource

Serves: Portland, Multnomah County

About this resource

The initiative provides tiny home shelters designed in a village model, featuring heat and electricity. Each shelter includes sleeping cots and sleeping bags, which must be provided by the program, although individuals can store their personal items in designated storage areas. Residents have access to regular meals, drinking water, showers, laundry facilities, restrooms, a phone charging area, a cooking space, routine trash collection, case management, and behavioral health support. The program also assists individuals in overcoming obstacles to secure permanent housing. It operates on a waitlist basis and may not be able to accommodate emergency or immediate shelter requests.

Intake Procedure: Entry is strictly through outreach referrals. Please refrain from contacting agencies, outreach workers, or park rangers for placement inquiries. More information can be found on the website.

Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
