About this resource
This shelter and service center accommodates up to 120 individuals experiencing homelessness. It features areas for coffee and tea, books and board games, a gated courtyard, showers, laundry facilities, and a place to store belongings during the day, along with onsite meals. The staff provides assistance focused on housing, employment, benefits, and health services. Please note that beds at the shelter are not guaranteed.
Intake Procedure: -To access shelter services, visit the website to fill out a Shelter Access Pre-Screening Form, or alternatively, walk in or call the Resource Center located at 650 NW Irving Street, Portland, OR 97209 to register for a shelter bed. A team member will follow up on all submissions to collect further information. -Please be aware that reservations are mandatory, and there is no intake at the physical shelter; individuals without a reservation will be turned away. Once a reservation is made, guests can utilize the space until they no longer require it.
Travel/Location: Accessible via TriMet bus lines 17 and 14.
Fees: There are no fees associated with the shelter.
Who can use this
- Eligible individuals include women aged 18 and older or couples (any two individuals presenting as a couple, regardless of gender), with priority given to those aged 55 and older, adults with disabilities, and veterans; pets are permitted if housebroken, with the owner responsible for their care.
