About this resource

This shelter and service center accommodates up to 120 individuals experiencing homelessness. It features two spacious sleeping areas, a coffee and tea corner, books and board games, a secure courtyard, showers, laundry facilities, a designated area for personal belongings during the day, and a kitchen for light meals and drinks. Staff members are available to provide information, referrals, and assistance. Onsite services include resources for housing, health, and income. Please note that shelter beds are not guaranteed.

Intake Process: - To apply, visit the website to fill out a Shelter Access Pre-Screening Form, or you can walk in or call the Resource Center located at 650 NW Irving Street, Portland, OR 97209 to request a shelter bed. A team member will respond to all inquiries to collect additional information. - Reservations are mandatory, and no intake occurs at the shelter's physical location; individuals without a reservation will not be admitted. Once a reservation is made, guests may utilize the space until they no longer require it.

Location: Situated at the intersection of Southeast Mitchell Street and Milwaukie Avenue, accessible via TriMet bus lines 19 and 70.

Costs: There are no fees.

Who can use this

  • Eligibility includes women aged 18 and older or couples of any gender; priority is given to those aged 55 and older, individuals with disabilities, and veterans, with pets allowed under specific conditions.
