Transition Projects

Community Resource

Serves: Portland, Multnomah County

About this resource

This program features a 90-bed short-term transitional housing facility. It provides case management, life skills training, job skills training, and additional support services, specifically for men engaged with the Multnomah County community justice system. Stays generally range from 4 to 6 months, and beds at the shelter are not guaranteed.

Intake Procedure: For standard intake, individuals can visit the website to fill out a Residential Shelter Pre-Screening Form, call, or visit the Resource Center located at 650 NW Irving Street to register for a shelter bed. A team member will follow up on all submissions to collect further information. Reservations are mandatory, and there is no intake at the shelter itself; individuals without a reservation will be turned away. Once a reservation is made, guests may utilize the space until they no longer require it.

Travel/Location: The facility is located two blocks northwest of Union Station and is accessible via the TriMet MAX Yellow and Green lines.

Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
