About this resource
This program features a transitional housing facility with 90 beds designed for short-term stays. It includes case management, training in life and job skills, and various support services, with typical stays lasting from 4 to 6 months.
Intake Procedure: To begin the intake process, individuals can visit the website to fill out a Residential Shelter Pre-Screening Form, call, or visit the Resource Center located at 650 NW Irving Street, Portland, OR 97209 to register for a shelter bed. A staff member will follow up on all submissions to collect further details. Note that reservations are mandatory, and without one, individuals will not be admitted at the shelter's location. Once a reservation is made, guests may stay until they no longer require the space.
Travel/Location: The facility is situated two blocks northwest of Union Station and is accessible via the TriMet MAX Yellow and Green lines.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Eligible participants are single men and male veterans aged 18 and older who are experiencing homelessness and must remain abstinent from drugs and alcohol.
