Tucker Maxon School
Community Resource
About this resource
This educational initiative caters to children from preschool through 5th grade, creating an inclusive environment that combines students with hearing loss and those with typical hearing in small, collaborative classrooms. Through early diagnosis, timely intervention, and support such as hearing aids and cochlear implants, deaf and hard-of-hearing students enhance their listening and speaking abilities. Meanwhile, children with typical hearing gain from smaller class sizes and a setting that emphasizes individualized attention.
Intake Procedure: Contact for details.
Fees: A registration fee of $125 applies. Financial assistance is available for families with a deaf or hard-of-hearing child, contingent upon their demonstrated financial need, requiring the completion of a financial assistance application for documentation.
