About this resource
Summer EBT is a program that offers grocery benefits to assist families in purchasing food for their school-aged children when school is not in session. Each summer, families receive a one-time payment of $120 on an EBT card for each eligible child to help with grocery expenses. Any unused benefits from Summer EBT will expire 122 days after they are issued. A helpline is available for inquiries regarding general questions, eligibility verification, application status, and EBT card issues.
Application Process: For more details, families should visit the website. Applications for benefits in 2026 can be submitted at any time and may be sent via mail or email.
Costs: There are no fees associated with this program.
