This service offers guidance on available resources, individual counseling, support groups, and caregiver training, with limited respite care and additional services.
Intake Procedure: For further details, call or check the website. Information about support groups can be obtained via phone or online.
Travel/Location: The facility is situated in a two-story building adjacent to the Best Western Hotel and opposite Walmart. If traveling from Salem, take the second Dallas exit off Highway 22 and follow Kings Valley Highway until reaching Walmart.
Fees: There are no charges.
Who can use this
- Unpaid caregivers who fit into one of the following categories: -Adult family members or informal caregivers caring for individuals aged 60 and above -Adult family members or informal caregivers caring for individuals of any age with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders -Older relatives (not parents) aged 55 and above, caring for children under 18 -Older relatives, including parents, aged 55 and above.
