About this resource
The Oregon Department of Education collaborates with local agencies to establish a comprehensive system of free services aimed at supporting young children with developmental delays and disabilities, as well as their families. This includes: - Early Intervention (EI): Tailored services for children from birth to three years old, along with parental support to foster children's physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive growth; and - Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE): Customized instruction for children aged 3 until they are eligible for public school, focusing on areas such as communication, cognitive skills, social/emotional development, and adaptive skills.

Fees: No charges apply.
Who can use this
- Children aged 0-5 who are suspected of having a developmental delay or disability qualify for complimentary screening and evaluation, with those confirmed to have such challenges being eligible for EI/ECSE services.
