About this resource
This public health initiative aims to enhance health outcomes and promote lifelong nutrition and health practices for women, infants, and children. The program includes nutrition education classes, breastfeeding support, monthly allowances for supplemental nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four criteria: reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not mandatory), be a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding woman, or an infant or child under 5 years old (fathers, foster parents, and other guardians may apply for a qualifying child), have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), and demonstrate a nutritional risk assessed during the appointment.
