Costs: Varies. Participants in the program are accountable for closing costs that can reach up to $3000, with a 0% down payment and a 0% interest (0% APR) mortgage. Monthly payments will not exceed 30% of the homeowner's gross monthly income at the time of sale.
Who can use this
- Applicants must fulfill the following criteria: -Income limits (refer to chart on website) -Commit to 500 hours of sweat equity in building -Must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents -Cannot have owned a home in the last 3 years -Must have the capacity to manage a mortgage payment, which may involve a steady income and a credit history review by the organization.
