About this resource

This service provides in-home care assistance, which encompasses tasks such as housekeeping, personal support, laundry, shopping, transportation, and meal preparation and delivery. It also includes adult day services, which are community-based programs that operate for part of the day without residential facilities. Registered nurse services are available for one-time or occasional assessments, planning services, medication supervision, training, and education for providers. Additionally, case management and options counseling are offered to help individuals make informed decisions based on their strengths, needs, and preferences. The number of service hours each individual receives can vary based on their assessed needs and available funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours monthly. Importantly, benefits are not subject to estate recovery.
