About this resource
This initiative focuses on improving health outcomes and shaping lifelong nutrition and health behaviors among women, infants, and children. It includes nutrition education classes, breastfeeding assistance, monthly allowances for supplemental nutritious foods, and referrals to local resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not a requirement) -Be pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding, or have a child under 5 years old. Fathers, foster parents, and other guardians may apply for a qualifying child. -Have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Those receiving OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically considered income-eligible for WIC. -Demonstrate a nutritional risk, which will be evaluated during the appointment.
