Application Process: - Submit an application online - Send an email with the completed application attached. Note: Information may not be secure if sent without a secure email method. - Alternatively, you can mail, fax, or deliver the completed application to your local office. The application form is accessible in multiple languages including English, English Large Print, Spanish, Spanish Large Print, Arabic, Burmese, Nepali, Russian, Somali, and Vietnamese.
Costs: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of the childcare expenses, referred to as a copayment (copay), which varies based on family size and income.
Who can use this
- Eligible families must: - Reside in Oregon - Be employed, attending school, or receiving TANF - In two-parent households, both parents must be working or in school, unless exceptions apply for medical or mental health reasons - Require childcare to support work, education, or family well-being activities - Have a child who is: - A U.S. citizen or qualifying non-citizen, - Under 13 years old needing childcare, or - Aged 13 to 17 needing care due to special circumstances - Meet income thresholds - Initial limits set at 200% FPL and ongoing limits at 250% FPL.
