About this resource
This public health initiative seeks to enhance health outcomes and foster lifelong nutrition and health habits among women, infants, and children. It includes nutrition education classes, breastfeeding support, monthly allowances for supplemental nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not a requirement) -Be pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding, or have a child under 5 years old; fathers, foster parents, and other guardians can apply for eligible children. -Have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL); those on OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically eligible. -Demonstrate a nutritional risk, evaluated during the appointment.
