About this resource
The center specializes in mediation services facilitated by trained volunteer mediators, addressing a range of disputes such as small claims, neighbor conflicts, harassment, vandalism, property issues, family dynamics, animal disputes, employee relations, landlord/tenant disagreements, student issues, noise complaints, debt problems, youth conflicts (including parent/teen disputes), and parking disagreements. Additionally, it offers restorative justice conferencing for victims, enabling them to engage with their offenders in a constructive environment.

Travel/Location: The center is situated in the old courthouse at the intersection of K Avenue and 4th Street, just a block away from the bus stop.
Fees: The fee structure is on a sliding scale ranging from $0 to $50 per mediation session, with most cases being free and no one turned away due to financial constraints.
