About this resource

The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) assists families who are either employed, attending school, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) by helping them pay for child care, which also includes registration costs.

Intake Procedure: Applications can be submitted online, via phone, or in person at a local ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office.

Fees: As a subsidy program, ERDC requires many families to contribute a portion of the child care expenses, known as a copayment (copay), which varies based on family size and income.
