This program offers monthly food assistance to aid individuals in purchasing food, with benefits distributed via an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card known as the Oregon Trail Card.
Application Process: Interested individuals must apply and undergo an interview with an ODHS eligibility worker. Applications can be submitted through various methods, including online, by phone, in person, or via a paper application.
Cost: There are no fees associated with the application.
Who can use this
- Eligibility is assessed individually, requiring individuals and families to: -Reside in Oregon -Have a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, calculated from monthly income before taxes -Be US citizens or qualified non-citizens.
Documents you may need
- No documents are required to submit an application, however, people may be asked to provide the following: -Identification -Proof of income -Social Security numbers for everyone in your household who wants benefits -Proof of immigration status for eligible non-citizens
