About this resource
This public health initiative focuses on improving health outcomes and fostering lifelong nutrition and health practices for women, infants, and children. It includes nutrition education classes and offers additional services such as breastfeeding assistance, monthly benefits for nutritious supplemental foods, and connections to community resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four criteria: reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not a requirement), be pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding, or have a child under 5 years old (fathers, foster parents, and guardians can apply for eligible children), have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), and have a nutritional risk assessed during the appointment.
