- Eligible individuals include veterans with a discharge status other than dishonorable and their immediate family members (spouse, un-remarried surviving spouse, child, or stepchild).

- A copy of the veteran's discharge document (DD214 or Honorable Discharge). If these records are not available, the VSO will help get them.
