About this resource
This initiative provides educational resources, information, and referrals regarding housing challenges, as well as financial support for both homebuyers and homeowners. Services encompass homebuyer education classes and workshops, financial literacy, counseling before and after purchasing a home, foreclosure assistance, down payment aid, renter resources, and advice on home maintenance and repairs, including access to home repair loans. Monthly classes are conducted at Columbia Gorge Community College in Hood River and The Dalles. Additionally, the program keeps the community updated on housing trends in the Mid-Columbia area by utilizing up-to-date statistics.
