About this resource

Summer EBT is a program that offers grocery benefits to assist families in purchasing food for their school-aged children when school is not in session. Each summer, families receive a one-time payment of $120 on an EBT card for every eligible child to use for groceries. Any unused Summer EBT benefits will expire 122 days after they are issued. For inquiries regarding general questions, eligibility, application status, or EBT card issues, a helpline is available.

Intake Procedure: Applications for benefits in 2026 can be submitted at any time.

Fees: There are no associated fees.
