About this resource
This program offers food assistance through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also referred to as food stamps, to eligible individuals via an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, known as the Oregon Trail Card.
Who can use this
- Eligibility is assessed individually: -Income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, calculated as monthly income prior to taxes -Various factors influence eligibility and the amount of monthly SNAP benefits, including income sources, housing expenses, utility bills, medical costs for those aged 60 and over or with disabilities, and family member relationships -Additional criteria may apply for students, immigrants, and adults aged 18-52 without dependents beyond the income limits -Applicants must be U.S. citizens or fulfill certain non-citizen criteria to qualify for SNAP.
