Community Resource

Serves: Beaverton, Washington County

About this resource

The initiative runs a weekly drop-in center where young individuals can receive food, clothing, showers, and hygiene supplies, as well as referrals to other services. The centers may host crafts, sports, games, and other activities. Outreach workers are available to connect with youth throughout Washington County to discuss available resources. Additionally, the program provides educational and employment support, including personalized assistance with job searches, application processes, skills training, resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, school re-engagement, financial aid navigation, and enrollment in colleges or trade schools, along with life skills development.

Intake Procedure: Youth can simply walk in and are required to provide their name and age at the drop-in center.

Travel/Location: Located at the corner of SW 3rd and Watson, the site is accessible via TriMet Max blue and red lines, as well as bus lines 20, 52, 53, 54, 57, 58, 61, 76, 78, and 88, which all stop at Beaverton Transit Center. From there, youth should cross SW Lombard Avenue to SW Watson and turn left onto Watson Avenue until reaching 3rd Avenue. Bus lines 57, 76, and 78 also have stops closer to the drop-in center.

Fees: There are no fees for services.
