This program provides medical benefits via OHP for individuals who require treatment for breast or cervical cancer but lack health insurance. Referrals can be requested from healthcare providers.

Intake Procedure: Any provider conducting screenings for breast or cervical cancer can refer a patient by submitting a completed application to OHP. Typically, applications are processed by the following business day, and coverage under the Oregon Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCTP) starts on the day a provider confirms a cervical cancer diagnosis.

Travel/Location: Accessible via TriMet #67 at the Jenkins & Cedar Hills Crossing Driveway.

Fees: There are no fees associated with the program.

Who can use this

  • Individuals under 65 residing in Oregon who require treatment for breast or cervical cancer, lack minimum essential coverage, do not qualify for other Medicaid programs, and have a household income at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) are eligible to apply, regardless of gender identity or expression.
