About this resource
This program provides medical benefits via OHP for individuals who require treatment for breast or cervical cancer but lack health insurance. Referrals can be requested from healthcare providers.
Intake Procedure: Any provider conducting screenings for breast or cervical cancer can refer a patient by submitting a completed application to OHP. Typically, applications are processed by the following business day, and coverage under the Oregon Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCTP) starts on the day a provider confirms a cervical cancer diagnosis.
Travel/Location: Accessible via TriMet #67 at the Jenkins & Cedar Hills Crossing Driveway.
Fees: There are no fees associated with the program.
Who can use this
- Individuals under 65 residing in Oregon who require treatment for breast or cervical cancer, lack minimum essential coverage, do not qualify for other Medicaid programs, and have a household income at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) are eligible to apply, regardless of gender identity or expression.
