About this resource
This program provides medical benefits via OHP for individuals who require treatment for breast or cervical cancer and lack health insurance. Referrals can be requested from healthcare providers.
Intake Process: Any provider who conducts screenings for breast or cervical cancer can refer patients by submitting a completed application to OHP. Applications are typically processed by the following business day, and coverage under the Oregon Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCTP) starts on the day a provider confirms a cervical cancer diagnosis.
Costs: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Individuals under 65 residing in Oregon who need treatment for breast or cervical cancer, lack minimum essential coverage, do not qualify for other Medicaid programs, and have a household income at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) are eligible to apply, regardless of gender identity or expression.
