About this resource
Summer EBT is a program designed to assist families in purchasing food for their school-aged children during the summer break. Each year, families receive a one-time payment of $120 on an EBT card for every eligible child to help with grocery expenses. Any unused Summer EBT benefits will expire 122 days after they are issued. A helpline is available for inquiries regarding general questions, eligibility verification, application status, and EBT card issues.
Application Process: Families can apply for benefits for 2026 at any time by filling out an application.
Location: The program is accessible near the Hawthorn Farm MAX Station.
Cost: There are no fees associated with the program.
Who can use this
- Families may automatically qualify for Summer EBT if their child is approved through an application or attends a participating school in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP) and meets certain income criteria.
