About this resource
The program features a year-round shelter accommodating families for a maximum of five weeks. Residents can access tenant education and regularly meet with a family advocate to set goals, create financial plans, and secure stable permanent housing. Additionally, support is provided for school-aged children to remain in their local schools. Emergency food boxes are also available.
Intake Procedure: To request a food box, call; individuals seeking shelter must undergo an assessment through Community Connect to join the shelter waitlist.
Travel/Location: Located at the corner of 12th and Washington, accessible via the MAX Blue Line and TriMet bus lines 57, 47, and 48.
Fees: There are no fees involved.
Who can use this
- Shelter is available for families with minor children and pregnant women, with priority given to those living on the streets and women in late pregnancy. Food boxes are available without restrictions.
