About this resource
Relief nurseries assist families with young children who face significant risks of abuse and neglect by offering intensive support through personalized case management. LifeWorks NW extends comprehensive services to these high-risk families, which encompass early childhood intervention as well as social, emotional, and family support. Additional offerings include mental health services, trauma assessments, expertise in traumatic stress, home visits, classes for parents and infants or toddlers, art and music therapy, respite childcare, and weekly parenting workshops utilizing the "Making Parenting a Pleasure" curriculum. Enrollment is required for most services.
Intake Procedure: Contact for eligibility screening and to schedule an intake appointment.
Travel/Location: Accessible via Blue MAX line to Stop 9842, then a short 2-minute walk north on 12th and right on Main Street.
Fees: No charges apply.
Who can use this
- This program is designed for caregivers of children aged 0-5 and women in their third trimester of pregnancy, particularly those facing multiple risk factors.
