About this resource
This initiative provides licensed special education teachers with targeted teaching experience, training, and expertise specifically related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The aim is to assist districts in enhancing the capabilities of their special education teams. Activities may include increasing staff understanding of ASD characteristics, implementing classroom strategies, utilizing evidence-based practices (EBPs), and adhering to assessment protocols.

Travel/Location: Accessible via TriMet bus line 48 and the Orenco Station MAX stop. If necessary, transportation can be coordinated with the child's home school district.

Who can use this
- Children aged 5-21 must undergo a medical or health assessment as part of the educational eligibility criteria.
