This service provides assessments and investigations related to Civil Commitment to ascertain if a person meets the legal standards for a judge to decide on involuntary treatment. To qualify for Civil Commitment, an individual must be suffering from a mental illness and pose a risk to themselves or others, or be in such a state of incapacitation that their life is at risk.
