It also includes adult day services, which are community-based programs that operate for part of the day without residential facilities. Registered nurse services are available for one-time or intermittent evaluations, service planning, medication monitoring, and provider training and education. Additionally, case management and options counseling are offered to aid in informed decision-making based on individual strengths, needs, and preferences. The number of service hours per individual can vary based on assessed needs and available funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours a month.
