This service includes credit counseling and debt repayment assistance. -Credit Counseling: A certified credit counselor collaborates with the client to assess their financial situation, devise strategies for managing payments to creditors within a balanced budget, set personal financial objectives, and formulate an actionable plan. -Debt Management Program: For individuals facing overwhelming credit card debt, ClearPoint offers a structured debt management plan (DMP) designed to facilitate debt repayment. ClearPoint negotiates with creditors to secure lower fees and interest rates throughout the program duration. Clients make a single monthly payment to ClearPoint, which then distributes the funds to each creditor. This program remains active until all debts are fully paid off, including follow-up sessions.
Intake Procedure: Schedule an appointment by calling or visiting the website. Services are available in person, over the phone, or online.
Fees: Credit Counseling: No charge; Debt Repayment: Varies, capped at $40 per month.
