About this resource
Summer EBT is a program designed to offer grocery benefits to families, helping them buy food for their school-aged children when school is not in session. Each summer, families receive a single payment of $120 on an EBT card for every eligible child to purchase groceries. Any unused Summer EBT benefits will expire 122 days after they are issued. A helpline is available for inquiries related to general questions, eligibility verification, application status, and EBT card assistance.
Intake Procedure: Applications for 2026 benefits can be submitted at any time.
Travel/Location: The TriMet bus line 75 stops at SW Greenburg Road and SW Cascade Avenue.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Families may automatically qualify for Summer EBT if their child is approved through an application or if they attend a school participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP) and meet specific income criteria.
