This initiative focuses on enhancing health outcomes and fostering lifelong nutrition and health practices among women, infants, and children. It includes nutrition education classes, breastfeeding assistance, monthly provisions for supplemental nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four requirements: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not mandatory) -Be pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding, or have a child under 5 years old. Fathers, foster parents, and guardians can apply for eligible children. -Household income must be below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Those receiving OHP, SNAP, or TANF automatically qualify. -Must demonstrate a nutritional risk (evaluated during the appointment).
