About this resource

This program offers an 18-hour class aimed at individuals seeking to improve their rental history. It provides vital information on being a responsible and stable tenant. Participants will identify any screening obstacles they face and take proactive measures to overcome them. Upon finishing the course, attendees will receive a certificate that can be shown to landlords when applying for housing, which is valid for 18 months and can be utilized throughout Oregon. In Yamhill County, landlords can enroll in the Landlord Assurance Program, which may help cover costs related to damages, unpaid rent, or eviction if a Ready to Rent tenant leaves the property not in good standing within 12 months of moving in.

Intake Procedure: Call to pre-register for the next available class or for further information.

Fees: None.
