Mcminnville Area Habitat For Humanity
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative offers families the chance to construct and purchase their own homes, with properties sold at no profit to the families. Homes are constructed using volunteer labor and available donated materials. Mortgage payments from homeowners are reinvested into a fund aimed at building additional homes in the McMinnville area, presenting a long-term housing solution.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call for information and to be added to the contact list. Applications are made available only during specific times throughout the year, depending on home availability. For further details regarding program participation, please visit the website. This long-term housing solution can take several months or even years to complete.
Fees: There is no application fee. Homeowners will use 30% of their gross income for monthly payments on an interest-free mortgage.
